Didier Drogba could be heading back to Chelsea
to take up a coaching role after Montreal Impact confirmed negotiations
between the clubs have begun.
Drogba plays in the MLS with Montreal who, in a series of tweets, revealed that Chelsea are keen to bring the Ivorian striker to west London for a third time in a coaching capacity.
However, the Canadian team are hoping Drogba remains with them until the end of his contract.

"We understand his attachment to his former club and his desire to help them. We are willing to accommodate him.
"But our objective is to have him back for another season, as agreed in his contract. This situation is out of our control."
The 37-year-old scored 12 goals in 12 regular-season games after joining the Impact in July.
Drogba was photographed sitting next to Guus Hiddink, who was appointed Chelsea's interim manager last week, during last Saturday's Premier League game against Sunderland at Stamford Bridge.
